Pricing
How much does a redesign cost?
It depends on how big your current site is and how much of it changes. A fresh look for a ten-page site and a rebuilt platform with years of content are very different jobs.
The price mostly depends on:
- the size of the current site and how much content moves over
- how much the design and structure change
- new features you want to add
- whether we rewrite the text
After a short call we send you a fixed, written quote. The price doesn't change unless the project does, and if it does, you'll know before any work happens.
Questions
Frequently asked questions
Will I lose my Google rankings?
Not if the move is done carefully. We map every old address to its new page, redirect them properly and watch your rankings closely in the weeks after launch. Some movement in the first weeks is normal. Losing what you've built isn't.
Do we have to start from scratch?
Not necessarily. Once we've seen your current site, we'll tell you honestly whether it needs a rebuild or whether a lighter refresh will do.
Can you keep our existing content?
Yes. We move it over and tidy it up. If some of it needs rewriting, we can help with that too.
Our site runs on WordPress. Do we have to leave it?
No, but we'll usually suggest it. WordPress sites need constant plugin updates, are a common target for attacks and get slower over time. If you'd rather stay, we'll talk it through.
How long does it take?
It depends on the size of the site. You'll get an exact timeline with the proposal.
